No Don, my old Skechers are not Shape-ups. They came out before those. They don't have the rolling bottom but they do have "Curves" written on the outer side. They are old but in good condition, good enough to wear today but my two complaints with them are they are a bit difficult to take on and off without a shoe horn and they make my feet hot, likely why I stopped using them. If I really wanted to roll on the dreadmill I'd get out one of my two pairs of Skecher's roller skates, which look like a regular pair of athletic shoes except they have wheels on the bottom.
Still think my older fitbit is being too generous with the steps, but with the charger for the newer one still not here, what am I gonna do except report what the dang thing reads. If I had it on my wrist on the dreadmill I could see what's going on, but since I have to hang on, it has to stay in my pocket.
I did 21 or 22 minutes on the dreadmill this afternoon and subtracting the steps I had before I got on, dreadmill steps were 2106. Well, Don just reported 1700 for a slightly shorter time. I started out at 1.0 and bumped it up twice til I was at 1.2. The only difference I can figure is that legs are shorter and my stride is shorter so that I have to take more steps to cover the same distance.
Got my Skechers swept out. They are "Curves" and so many years old I can't even find a used pair on Ebay.
I did measure the height of my deck today and it is 10.5 inches, taller than the standard 8" step.
Today I did not do the aeroboca , did do albuterol on the nebulizer, and then about 12 minutes of the 4 lb bag of beans on my chest, and an hour on the trilogy machine.
Deja Vu - Seems like I've been here before - 20 counter push-ups, 30 arm swings and 20 bicep curls. Will see how and if it progresses.
Just added 15 shoulder presses; will try some DM now.
Did four rounds of 3 minutes at 1 mph on ol' dreddy. Hopefully I'll be able to do more after my daily visit with Mr. Pillow.
Did another four rounds of 3 minutes for a total of 8 rounds that's 24 minutes which is about 1700 steps; if I add my typical room-to-room steps that's about 2300 total; not too bad for having a bad day. not going to try anything else today; God willing, tomorrow's another day.
Wow. Almost 3am here, and it just hit me that Don did 24 minutes on the treadmill today. He deserves a round of applause.
