Kudos, Don, for staying focused on your exercise Thanksgiving day. I can really see from your daily reports that you have built up stamina over the past few weeks.
No formal exercise for me on Thanksgiving, but ended up walking a total of 1833 steps. Accidentally found out that the sweeper Joe bought himself on Wednesday at a Walmart Store was $50 less ordered online with "pickup today" so of course I ordered it for him from Walmart online, we picked it up within the hour, and we will return the identical model that was purchased two days ago on Saturday.
We ate Thanksgiving dinner again this year at a local buffet. I have always loved cooking but not having to is also quite a treat although I can't really eat enough, and breathe afterward, to justify the cost. And it is always disappointing not to have leftovers to enjoy later.
I had a small plate smaller than a dinner plate, with a small slice of Turkey, slice of cranberry .probably about a skinny 1/2cup of stuffing and sweet potatoes.
I'm probably the only one that exercised on Thanksgiving on planet earth!
I am a lite eater and I am very uncomfortable if I eat more than my usual amount. The bloated feeling puts pressure on my diaphragm and lungs and I become very SOB. So I kinda went all out:
First my usual 15 counter push-ups and 25 arm swings, 20 bicep curls and I tried something new - 10 "lateral deltoid raises", that is where I hold my dumbbells at my sides and slowly raise them outward to shoulder height. To finish up I walked 8 rounds of 3 minutes at 1 mph.
