Sandy, thank you for your note and your e-mail address and I just wrote your e-mail address down, so I don't lose it. Er...unless I have a computer crash but hopefully I won't. I was wondering whether you ever read my post about the Oxygen Bars.
I don't know what has happened to Don. I suspect something has changed. He did say he was being evaluated for hospice, didn't he? Seems Mrs. Don has her hands full right about now. I do hope and pray that nothing bad has happened, as of course, we all do. He was doing so good with his exercising for weeks on end before he suddenly landed in the hospital. We just have to be patient and try not to panic.
No, I don't know anything about running one of these sites. So very sorry I have been absent these past few weeks, but I came down with a terrible cold in January and never seemed to get back to exercising except walking on necessary shopping ventures. Colds last forever nowadays and winter always makes me want to huddle in my chair with my lap blanket. Whether I comment or not, I am always checking into this group to see how it goes with everyone else.
I have seen that canned oxygen product, Boost, and can only imagine like you said, it would be helpful in an emergency if you are somewhere hiking at extremely high altitude, such as Machu Picchu in Peru. Wouldn't have thought of even this example except I have a friend who recently went there with her elderly father. I also understand that pure oxygen will help sober up someone with alcohol intoxication so perhaps some creative use might be made of that........
Like yourself and Sister Petra, I am waiting with bated breath to hear something from Don, and hopefully soon. Hope everyone is well and warm. We've had a somewhat mild winter here, but still some very cold days and nights.
