This procedure ill I use it for 22 years. Its not complicated.Hope it will help for someone of you with lot of mucus like its helpful for me.
In order to prevent to practice the drainage I have to beware of colds, cold drinks, wet clothes and cold weather. But when my nose starts to stream and crunch and my lungs fill with secretion this is the procedure I have to do:
1.Visit the doctor which prescribes me antibiotics and opens me a sick leave period. 2.In the pharmacy I buy Fluimucan (for expectoration) and assume it in the morning 3.During the day I drink a lot of liquids (water or tea). The liquid dilutes the secretion and allows easier expectoration. 4.I drink sage with milk and honey (to calm down the coughing) 5.Clean my lungs with drainage (if the secretion is forming fast I repeat the drainage every 2-3 hours if needed). 3 times a day should be ok.
Description of the drainage (see enclosed picture):

Picture No 1
A bed with 4 pillows, massager and a bowl (for the secretion)

Picture No 2
I lay on the pillows with my had down and my bottom high. I'm lying for about half an hour, sometimes longer. The longer, the better. I turn on the massager and put it on my both sides to shake in order to unstick the mucus (secretion) and facilitate it's moving toward the throat. When the secretion is in the throat I start to throw it out (see picture 3).
Picture No 3
I turn myself aside and while the massager is shaking I'm inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly and extended. This way of breathing and expectoration allow the collecting of the secretion in the throat. When it comes in the throat just peak up the bowl and spit. When you feel that this side (that lung) is clean turn on the other side and repeat the whole procedure. It is very simple and very efficient. With no secretion in your breathing ways you have no impulse to cough and suffer less choking and feel much better. I do all that procedure by myself.

I just went to a youtube to look how its look like Flutter valvue and looks like acapella. But its not the same or?
Whats diffrent between flutter and acapella ? Do you use flutter and how long time it takes to throw mucus out. Thanks for replay
You might want to try a FLUTTER VALVE. May be helpful also. I am sure they are available in Europe but I don't know what brands they have or who the manufacturers are. You should ask your doctor
I dont know how it looks like the percussion methods for people with cystic fibrosis but for me postural drainage its very effective.
Only a couple of facts of my "Pulmo-life":
Without drainage:
1993 Fev1 49% 1 month of fever,always coughing always with mucus
1994 Fev1 89% 2 months of best breathin in my life and than again mucus and coughing
1995 Fev1 14,7 % (at age 30) 1,5 years of very bad coughing, 7 months with fever, antibiotics, full of thick, yellow, green mucus.Strange to me was that no one (even in hospital) never mentioned drainage.
With making drainage:
(others doctor he told me: Drainage its most important therapy to maintance your conditions.
1996. FEV1 33 %
1999. FEV1 35,8 %
2010. FEV1 30,2%
2012. FEV1 34,6
2017 FEV130,2 %
Fever : Since 1995 never more then 4-5 days
sounds similar to the percussion methods used for those with cystic fibrosis. Flutter valves are available online for COPD patients who experience a great deal of phlegm/congestion.
