I've missed taking my Spiriva for 3 days now. For some reason I don't think about it til approx. eight o'clock. I don't take it then because it is too close to the time I take my Advair. I'm getting
concerned I've hurt myself and wonder if anyone else has had this problem and if so is it too late to get back on track.
Thanks guys,, don't know why I had such a hard time changing it before. Well, I'm known as Popcorn again. It was the name of a Pekinese dog I had that died of cancer a few years ago.
Thank you all for your help. Much appreciated. I have been taken my Spiriva again and when I see my Pulmo next I will take it up with him. In the meantime you have put my mind at ease,
Don, I must seem like a real dumbell, but I went into the cameo, clicked on my profile, then clicked edit profile but it doesn't allow me to type my new user. Could very well be my old computer. I guess mcapob5853 will have to do. It was that people from CI-International knew me as Popcorn. No biggy.

Millie: here's how to change your username:
Click the circle with the cameo in the white bar on the top right of the main page block.
Click on "my profile"
Click the blue box at the bottom "edit profile"
Where you see your assigned username; (between the little pencil and you assigned name): type your preferred username
Click the blue box at the bottom "confirm"
DONE!
Don, you are correct. It is only necessary to wait 5-15 min between Spiriva and Advair. Dr Noah Greenspan, in his book Ultimate Pulmonary Wellness, recommends that the Spiriva be taken first.
It takes a while for Spiriva to to leave your system. It has a half life of 5 or 6 days.
I did try to change my user but couldn't. But I will use my name in the future/
Interesting Don, I thought I remembered my doctor saying I could use them together, but after reading some have to wait a couple of hours before some others.
I'll wait til tomorrow and see how I feel. The last couple of days I thought I was feeling better, Tonight I'm not so sure.
Thanks,
Millie
Millie: A couple things here. If you've missed three days and you feel OK and your sats ore OK, maybe you actually don't need the spiriva; I would ask your doc about that. On the other hand; spiriva and advair work on different receptors in the lungs so you can actually take them at the same time (so I have read).
Please use your name when posting as we all know you by either by popcorn or Millie. If you can change your username without any trouble that would be good.
