Has anyone ever notice that the holes on either end of the swivel are different sizes?
Yep - they are.
I have a theory about this: we lose a little lpm using a long hose; by reducing the size of the hole on the output side of the swivel, it increases the pressure. Works just like the nozzle on a garden hose.
Anyway - look closely at your swivel.
Tommy looked at mine, he never noticed the difference in hole size before. He said the garden hose comparison is dead on, so easy to understand. Mine was on backward, now switched.
Thank you Don
Likewise, maybe I use a different brand and that is the reason. I have no additional hosep either that's attached to my cannula.
My swivel connects my cannula directly to the 50' SoftHose. I have no additional hose footage on the cannula itself.
My swivel connector is the same size on both ends. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong thing.
I use the salter 50 ft green hose with a 4 ft Westmed Comfort Soft Plus cannula
what type of hose and which brand of cannula are you using with your swivel connector?
I think the pointed end goes towards the cannula.
