I am about to lose our private insurance and I need some information about ADC. I am not familiar with their drug names such as; Duova; what would that replace? There are more but that would help for now. The meds I use are:
Spiriva respimat
Symbicort or Breo Ellipta
Lisinopril
Omeprazol
Jalyn
I'm about to start ordering from ADC again, my insurance won't pay for Symbicort and Spiriva, I am able to get samples from my dr when he has them, but... The meds my insurance will pay for (Breo and Incruse ) just don't seem to be doing it for me lately. Last shipment I got came through Swiss mail! Got here pretty quick, but that was weird.
don't answer any questions if someone calls you about ADC. They may be people who are trying to prevent us (as in ALL of us) from using them. Tell whoever calls, that you will call them back and ask for their name.
I got a call yesterday from someone saying they were from ADC , I have found they usually call after you place an order ,at least thats the way its been in the past, and I had just got an order recently after not ordering for a couple of years.
Actually, I've had several guys who knew every detail of my last order (yes, I reported them to ADC). I just told the callers that their info was totally wrong and whoever they bought it from sure took them to the cleaners.
If you ask one of these fake ADC callers to give you the name of your last prescription, they can't do it LOL
Mike, I get those calls all the time too. Even have guys saying they ARE ADC which, as we all know by now, is a lie. ADC only calls when you ask them to..
I usually order once, sometimes twice, a year and always stock up on antibiotics, just in case. My family was here when I ordered this year & my sister (a major skeptic) asked me to get her a couple of antis. Even my pulmo was excited to hear about ADC. He's been sending patients to Canada for meds. I told him ADC is often cheaper than the Canadian sites I've checked. He's going to comparison shop.
yes, ADC is just fine. Got a call from them the other day about my lack of ordering !!! Told them I no longer used Advair, but thanks for the call.
I receive a lot of junk phone calls that Usually get ignored but yesterday I got a call from one of the on line pharacy's claiming that ADC was closing. I actually went online and did the online chat ....it aint' so. ADC is still there and doing well thanks to all of us COPD'rs. Mike
regardless of the substitution names, just be sure to sequence the meds correctly, or they can't be effective.
The ADC e-check payment method gives an additional discount. It IS secure. I have used it for years.
With ADC, you can just enter the US name of your med in the search box and the results for their brands will appear. Be sure to note sizes. They are also very nice to speak with on the phone should you need them.
If you are ordering, now is the time because the holiday shipping crunch is fast upon us.
Thanks Ladies, I am going to try Tiova for Spiriva and Foracort for Symbicort along with Lisinopril; Omez for Prilosec and Veltam Plus for Jalyn. Also Ventorlin for Albuterol.
I use Seroflo 250 (Advair 50/250), and Tiova 18mcg (Spiriva). When I first started to use ADC, I found their "search" quite useful. Just type in what you are using, and if they have an equivalent, it will show up on the page. Also, you can look at the description of the particular item. I've used these for years now, and they are just as effective as what my doc ordered. Like Audrey said, it can take a couple of weeks since they are shipping from India and have to go through customs. And when they ask you about a prescription, etc., just ignore it. They probably put it there so any pharmacy or drug agency see that they are legit. Sometimes the shipping is $25, but they have discounts on that too so you only pay $15.
I use Foracort that replaces Symbicort and Tiova that replaces Spiriva they are generics made by Cipla
also I get Ventorlin a albuterol inhaler from them. It takes a week or two to get them. I pay with my Visa card or you can use an e-check. I usually order a few months at a time because there is a $15.00 shipping.
charge.
You can type in the meds you are looking for and they will display what they have. You can also call and speak with them. I have never had any trouble ordering there.
