OK - I'm back. I just spoke to Chris Thompson and they will be able to take orders on the phone via check up until the middle of December. Just call Chris @ 858-748-5677, she will take your order and when she receives the check she will ship it.
A c-7 is $5.00 and shipping on the order is $5.00.
I ordered 12 for $65.00 total.
It's a long story but she is able to fill orders on a smaller scale than the online business demanded. She herself has been having some health issues so if you pray, pray for her.
After trying several different Cannulas, I found one that I believer is even morecomfortable than Softhose. It is from a supplier called "Medline." They have everything so their website is a little overwhelming but if I can figure it out.....
Go to shop.medline.com Click home healthcare; scroll down to respiratory; In the search box type: HCSS4514SH; that is for a single cannula with 7' tube, you can order one to try them or as many as you want, just change the amount. You'll be prompted to provide your email address and select a password.
This is absolutely the most comfortable of all the cannulas that I have tried. By the way; they're only about 65 cents apiece plus $7.95 shipping, if you got 10 that's less than $15.00 total.......compare that to softhose.
Hope some find this helpful.
UPDATE:
After wearing this cannula all day, I do have some problems with it: The prongs are a little stiff and the connecting tube is crush resistant so it is very stiff and stays somewhat curled making it easy to trip over. Keep in mind that this is just me, some may love this cannula, I still recommend to sample one.
The one from direct home medical are are manufactured by Westmed and I find their prongs are very stiff and the supply hose also.
I tried one from Salter Labs with the same results.
I just sent for a single cannula from Medline, I will post results when I try it, maybe another week.
I tried to call Thompson Engineering (softhose) but just get a busy signal. I was hoping that even though they are out of business, they may have some inventory that they are willing to sell; I'll keep trying to call.
I think it was a very cruel thing to do just going out without giving their many many customers a heads-up.
I ordered mine from direct home medical, called them on the phone , they advertise soft hose and I am pleased with them ( somewhere I read that even the softest ones firm up after awhile) I ordered 25 I think it was, the thing that tightens up is a little loose , The more you order the price goes down.
Has anyone tried to call? They might be able to lead us to whoever supplied their products. Their phone # is 858-748-5677 if anyone is interested in calling them.

Audrey: That's the one I tried. Guess I'm just spoiled, I like the soft nose prongs and the the supply hose that stays straight.
I started using the Comfort Plus Soft Hose cannula from Westmed. They are almost like softhose.
I've been trying different brands.
