Judi did reply said she would try the MSM but she also eats lots of broccoli which both have sulphur , she of course does not want her E mail put out , told her I thought you had it , she said she accidently deleted the address of this site before and she knew of you , whether she will come over here I do not know think she is pretty busy and may have some kind of business.
I do remember judi, she was on Jeral's site. Is this part of her email address: jamelia469?. If so, I tried to invite her to this site but got no reply. It would be fine if you contact her and invite her here. Use this link:
Don did you know judi wa, she has been on portalone and maybe on the copd intl , she has been sick and I was going to tell her about msm and also cell food, Dave won't allow any help like that but he did send me her Email at her request I thought I might send her this web site if she knows of you ,do not want to push things, and the address for web site will be different now I think
I have used Nac I think before just another thing that was on my list and somehow got off.I don't use cell food all the time because I cannot afford it either. Have not had problems with mucous lately, but was still hard to breathe and I am somewhat better now. I only get about 2/3 of full S S because I had to take early not because I wanted to and have not had an increase in 5 or 6 years.
Thank you Sandy for all that info. Although the cell food looks good, it's a bit expensive for me. I may look further into the MSM.
I don't use a lot of supplements myself with one exception - NAC. I'll post some info below about it.
Glutathione is the primary antioxidant in the lungs. Because of NAC's ability to break up mucus and its powerful antioxidant effects in terms of boosting glutathione, NAC has been studied as a natural remedy for lung and respiratory conditions like COPD, bronchitis, the flu, and more.
Yes I am taking the MSM ,my husband took it and other stuff I would get for for his knees, after many years he had both knees replaced, but I had read about it for lungs and started taking it and did for several years , but then when I ran out and got sick my mind was cloudy and I forgot I had been taking. No I do not get headaches , only sinus ones over my eye, and I do not know how it would affect yours/ msm 1000 mg, one a day ,will try the powder some day. Another thing is the oil of oregano, rather bitter , but kind of gives your lungs a jolt, and another that I took and forgot and I still have some cell food, I like Lumina got it at Amazon , right now there is 519 reviews on it over 400 positive , I am going to start taking it again. Right now I have sort of a head cold and lots of sneezing but had the sneezing before I started the MSM again . Read up on cell food if you don't know about it. What other things have you tried?? and for what??
Sandy: Are you taking the MSM now? I have a very low tolerance to headaches which is a side effect; do you get headaches? It looks interesting and promising but I've tried so many things that don't work; at least not for me. Please let me know a little more about it if you don't mind; just post it here.
Now that I remembered what I had run out of but had forgot I stayed sick Back to taking an Msm capsule can breathe better and it also works on inflamation, they say the pure powder works even better
That's the problem Don is immune system its just about 0 I guess , not sure what it was I think I was over the bladder , but was having problems for so long I was already feeling yukko, then got a germ somewhere that settled in my head and chest . I should have gone and looked at the spelling on Box of that inhaler instead of guessing. so they checked me for pneumonia, but I could hardly talk without breathing so heavily. By the way I have problems some with the scalp psoriasis not big but its there at times. The home health Nurse told me to take coke or some liquid with food value taking that antibiotic instead of water on an empty stomach as it just riled up the acid.
Thanks Joyce for your wishes hope you can send other notes sometimes , Hope your doing okay wish you could get eyes fixed..... I am on the mend I think???? but will take a while.
Sandy: If what you are treating is a UTI then the antibiotic should work; as I take it it did work. However, if you have a viral infection from the flu shot, your immune system should take care of that although you may have to up your vitamin "C" and take pro-biotics, eat garlic and drink plenty of water. Google "Antiviral medications" for more info.
By the way, I finally found the inhaler you mentioned - it's "
Am going to write address without them being close together www.Emphysema .net/ inhaler _ sequence/ ) and go to efforts will be the article on google I think its bevesi atmosphere
I did have blood and urine tests it was showing some bacteria I took antibiotic , the next one did not show anything I still took another antibiotic. I did not tell the Dr. I had got the flu shot and the nurse did not know I was not feeling good. I was mostly at fault. My temperature usually runs normally 97 plus so when its 98 plus I am usually running a temp
I am so sorry Sandy; I had no idea you were going through all this. I couldn't find anything that looks remotely like the inhaler you posted and the link doesn't work but many of them; especially the ICS ones compromise our immune system leaving us open to anything out there. If you picked up a virus, as you know, the antibiotics are useless. Not sure why the xrays but I agree with Audrey that they should have at least checked your urine as well as done blood-work.
Please do all that you can to take care of yourself - it may just have to run it's course but do all that you can.
Did they test your urine to see which medicine to use for it? They shouldn't have given the shot if you weren't feeling well. They usually take your temperature before giving it. Hope they find out whats wrong and you are feeling better soon.

I looked it up just to make sure anything else I took did not have same ingredients, anyhow I took medicine this summer and as far as I know it was from this inhaler, I no longer have it but I am still urinating often
Just as I stopped it first of Oct ,I guess a Germ was brought home , I was in bed all day with a lower backache from waist to tailbone, could not walk , Traveling x-ray came , then I went to dr. they done another e-xray and put me on arrizthomycin (sp) took that and now have been on doxycycline for almost 10 days ,The nurse was concerned because I got a flu shot while feeling bad. and thought I might be having a reaction from that ,my nose is running like a water hose, theres more I could write but you can figure out is has not been pleasant, I took a xanex last night to get some sleep.
The lung Dr. gave me a sample inhaler back in Feb after awhile I started feeling like I had a bladder infection, symtoms of urgency and I started having to urinate every hour from about 2 am till 8* am no sleep The product was Besverdi Atmosphere (sp)back when most of us were on copd Intl they had an address for different inhalers I am going to type it just for information only you still need to do what your dr says
